PRIVACY POLICY

General

SmallBizBod (“the Business”) collects, holds and processes information about its customers, including personal data which may be used to identify individuals.

The Business holds information about its customers for administrative purposes, to enable agreed works to be completed as per the signed Service Agreement, and for the purpose of carrying out Customer Due Diligence in line with Anti Money Laundering Regulations.​

ICO Registration

​

The Business address, 22 Michigan Close, derby DE21 6WD, is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office in line with statutory requirements, certificate number: ZA806978

 

The nominated Data Protection Officer is Sarah Ingleby.​

Retention of Data

​

The Business will not retain information about its customers for longer than is necessary to meet the purposes set out in this policy. In general this will be for a minimum of 6 years from the end of any business arrangement, but no longer than 10 years.​

 

Statutory Purposes

​

In addition to the purposes listed above the Business may collect, hold and process data if it is necessary to do so for compliance with any statutory duty with which the Business is required to comply.​

 

Third Parties

​

If it is necessary for any of the above purposes the Business may transfer personal data to its insurers, bankers, legal, and other professional advisors. The data may also be disclosed to others at the customer’s own request.

 

Good Practice

​

The Data Protection Act sets out principles of good practice and the Business will make all reasonable efforts to adhere to them.​

 

Access and Correction

​

You have a right to request access to, and to request correction of, your personal data. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact the Data Protection Officer. There will be an administration charge of £10.00.
