About Sarah

With over 30 years' experience in operational and business support across a wide range of industries, I founded Smallbizbod with one goal in mind: to help small business owners get the very best out of their time, and their business.

I'm qualified in Business Administration, Bookkeeping & Accounts, and Project Management, and I'm a skilled Bid Manager. But beyond the credentials what I really bring is a practical, sleeves-rolled-up approach to untangling the complexity that comes with running a business. If there's a problem to solve, or order to create out of chaos, I'm in my element.

(I'm also a self-confessed Excel geek, which, trust me, comes in very handy.)

When I'm not helping clients streamline their operations, you'll find me in Derby with my husband, children, cats and snake — reading, walking, swimming, or diving deep into three decades' worth of family history research.
