With over 30 years' experience in operational and business support roles across a wide range of industries, I founded Smallbizbod with one goal in mind: to help small business owners get the very best out of their time, and their business.

​

I’m qualified in Business Administration, Bookkeeping & Accounts, and Project Management, and I bring a practical, sleeves-rolled-up approach to everything I do. I naturally gravitate towards untangling complexity, solving problems, and creating order out of chaos, because when things run smoothly behind the scenes, businesses can really move forward.

(I'm also a self-confessed Excel geek, which, trust me, comes in very handy.)

Smallbizbod is built around that mindset. It’s not just about completing tasks; it’s about identifying what needs to be done, putting the right structure in place, and keeping things moving. Over time, this also led me to develop The Bid Zone, my specialist service focused on helping businesses win work through effective bidding.

When I'm not helping clients streamline their operations, you'll find me in Derby with my husband, children, cats and snake — reading, walking, swimming, or diving deep into three decades' worth of family history research.
